Gifts

December tends to be a giving month with the holidays coming up, plus deals in stores. I often tell my clients, who I know love to shop, that it’s ok to bring in new items or to upgrade frequently used items, but something else should also go out, typically whatever is being replaced. If kids are getting new clothes, then clothing that is too small, worn or torn can leave the closet and drawers. If they are excited by new games, it is a good time to help them pass on games they’re no longer interested in or have outgrown. Clothing and toys in good condition can often be donated providing a giving opportunity.

Trying to think of what to get for this family or friend who already has everything? Have they expressed desire or wish for a more organized space in their closet, a family room, play room, cleared table or even a kitchen? Would a gift of organizing help them move forward with their goal? I am reachable at [email protected].

To Boston area folks: I’ll be in town early January to assist with projects. A great way to keep your New Year resolution or to get started, email me to set up an appointment.
