Silver lining of moving

As I was packing up my stuff for the move, I found items that no longer fit my lifestyle. I had the space to store in my closet on the top shelf, but it had been years since I’ve worn softball shoes. I said bye-bye.

I had some baking pans but it has been a long while since I’ve used these baking pans, goodbye. I know someone else will gladly use them.

I am a collector of jars as I use them to store dried beans, grains etc. I didn’t need to keep all of them as I’m leaning toward a more uniform set for easier cleaning and storage. I know I’ll amass more as I buy shelf staples. I’m not worried about having enough. It’s freeing to let go and only keeping what’s necessary in my new home.

What was the most surprising thing you let go in your last move or clean out?
