Noah likes to host big barbecues in warm weather. He relies on plastic utensils, paper plates, and plastic cups for his parties, and likes to keep large quantities on hand. His place has an awesome storage closet that fits the supplies, but it was in total disarray. He couldn’t see what he already had, so he kept buying new supplies each time he wanted to host. He thought organizing the space would help.
I emptied the closet and sorted everything into categories. Once everything was sorted, finding a place for each category in the closet was easy. Now Noah can see what he has in stock before going shopping for his next barbecue. In fact, we found out that he had so much on hand that he doesn’t need to buy more supplies until after a few barbecues have happened. The organized closet now also has space to store other household paper goods, such paper towels.
Noah was pleased with the results and is looking forward to the start of barbecue season.
