Sample of Before and After of a Walk-In Closet

Organized and clean space in closet to fit in a dresser, clothes are lined up by categories, there's room to place AC under hanging clothes, top shelf clean with suitcase lined up and stackable items yet still visable.Stuff all over the floor and shelf with a lot of items not having a place to go.

From Pam. Chicago, IL:

I had a cluttered bedroom with a big walk-in closet that was poorly organized and hard to get into.  I knew I could de-clutter the room if I took full advantage of the closet storage, so I hired Elesheva to help.

Elesheva had me give her a tour of both spaces, and then we talked about my ideas, some of which contradicted each other!  She also asked about what I liked and didn’t like in my existing layout, and how I used my space day-to-day. Based on that, she suggested a new layout and we discussed how it could work for me. Once we agreed on a tentative plan, we cleaned out the closet. I discovered a few things I didn’t realize I still had, and Elesheva encouraged me to donate or trash the things I didn’t use, but she didn’t pressure me.

Then we rearranged both the closet and the bedroom.  I got to keep the storage arrangements that already worked, but by pulling out the things that I didn’t need and rearranging the rest, Elesheva created a huge amount of space.  Not only was she able to incorporate *both* of my no-longer-contradictory ideas, she arranged the closet so that it feels much more spacious than it did before, when I was using it for half as much.  She even hung my art on the wall!  My bedroom is decluttered and feels much bigger than it did before, and the closet now features both a serene dressing area for me AND discrete storage for business files and other things I didn’t need out in the open.

Throughout, Elesheva was terrific about listening to my goals for my space, and very responsive to what I thought would and wouldn’t work.  Working with her was a terrific experience, and I could not be more pleased by the results.
